GMC’s Bike Shop

Nestled in the basement of Dunton, Green Mountain College’s bike shop has been serving student’s bike repair needs for the past three years.  The shop is entirely volunteer run and all parts needed for repairs come at no cost to the student.  Whether you have a flat tire or jammed chain, the bike shop has the tools and knowledge needed to get the job done.

Please watch the video which offers a close view of not only the work that goes on inside this organization, but also the available opportunities.

Their future plan is to incorporate the same services currently offered for bike repair for skii repair as well.  If you are interested in volunteering for the shop and want to learn more about bicycle maintenance, you are encouraged to stop by and see what is happening and gain valuable knowledge, skills, and experience.

A special thanks goes to Nick Rushford who took time and energy out of his day to be the subject in the video featured in this post.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to speak about this, I feel strongly about it and like mastering more on this subject. If possible, as you acquire experience, would you mind updating your blog with way more information and facts? it's very helpful on behalf of me.
