Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20th 2013, the movie Samsara will be showing at the Tiny Theatre first at 6:00pm and then again at 8:00pm. I have not seen this movie, so I am not in a position to recommend it based on my experience. However, just from reading the descriptions, hearing other peoples reactions and impressions, I can only imagine that this movie is worthwhile and might even transform your views of the world. To help explain what this movie is all about, I pulled the description from the facebook page for Sams
“SAMSARA takes the form of a nonverbal, guided meditation that will transform viewers in countries around the world, as they are swept along a journey of the soul. Through powerful images pristinely photographed in 70mm and a dynamic music score, the film illuminates the links between humanity and the rest of the nature, showing how our life cycle mirrors the rhythm of the planet.
Samsara was filmed in almost 100 locations across 26 countries over the course of four years.”
Anyway, I hope to see many GMC students attend the showing.
