A little less than a month ago six students including two GreenMAP leaders sought to adventure to our neighboring Canada, specifically Montreal, to explore. I’m sure the first thing you would ask is “What is there to explore in a city like Montreal?” and the answer I have for that is everything.
Students climbed Mont Royal, a mountain that upon climbed was viewed as one of the most beautiful sights in the area.
Students went to the various museums and exploratoriums that Montreal has to offer.
Most important of all, students pushed themselves to be vulnerable in a new place, letting the culture of a new country and area waft through their beings, making them the captains of their own experience.
To anyone wondering if Green Mountain has anything to offer them, this is it. Student Government and the College Programming Board sought to give students the opportunity to try new things, and these students did more than try, they did.
